Aloe kaokoensis grows stem-like and individually. The initially upright stems later face downward and reach a length of up to 100 centimeters. Below the leaf rosette, they are covered with the remains of dead leaves. The lanceolate leaves are initially erect and then spread. The pale, smooth , somewhat rough leaf is 38 to 67 centimeters long and 4 to 14 centimeters wide. The upper leaf surface is sparsely mottled white toward the base. On the underside, the dense spots form transverse bands. The black teeth on the yellow, cartilaginous leaf margin are 3 to 4 millimeters long and spaced 7 to 15 millimeters apart. There are one to three teeth at the tip of the blade. The yellow leaf sap dries up dark brown.
Inflorescences and flowers
The upright inflorescence consists of about 15 branches and reaches a length of 123 to 142 centimeters. The loose, cylindrical pointed grapes are 33 to 45 centimeters long and 7 centimeters wide. The linear-lanceolate bracts are 10 to 12 millimeters long and 3 millimeters wide. The cylindrical-triangular, orange-red to yellowish flowers are on stalks 11 to 14 millimeters long. The flowers are 35 millimeters long. At the height of the ovary, the flowers are 6 to 6.5 millimeters in diameter. Their outer tepals are not fused together at half their length. The stamens and stylus protrude briefly from the flower.
