Description

Eucalyptus preissiana is a small tree or shrub found in an area between Albany and Esperance in Western Australia.
It is a mallee eucalyptus with smooth, gray bark that usually grows between 2 and 3 meters high. The leaves are large, oval, thick and blunt-tipped. It produces large, yellow flowers on thick peduncles from late winter to late spring. The buds have rounded reddish-colored caps, and the fruits are large and bell-shaped. Yellow flowers appear between August and November (late winter to late spring) in its natural range.
