This plant is still rarely seen in the exotic garden. Better known by the name Mexican grass tree, this plant from Mexico is characterized by the long sharp “grass” sprites on its back. The blades at the top are often slightly yellowed and reminiscent of a game of mikado.
Like many exotics, the plant loves a well-drained soil. Hardy to a maximum of -10°C. We recommend max -6°C.
Recommended as a container plant, because of the risk. Hibernate preferably under a roof, out of the rain.
