The Chamaerops humilis can be propagated by sowing. Reportedly, you could also cut the young side shoots. If you would like to sow the palm tree yourself, preferably use sowing and cutting soil of a good brand. Fill the pot, and place some seeds on top of the ground. You can sow several seeds in one pot. Then add another 2-3 cm of sowing soil over it. Water well once, put aluminum foil over it, and put away at a temperature of 22-28C°. Usually the seeds germinate after 1.5 to 2 months. The aluminium foil is allowed to germinate when the first seeds start. An elongated leaf then shoots straight into the sky.
