Musa balbisiana gigantea has very large yellow flowers that are followed by large bunches of bananas. The fruits have many seeds and are therefore not pleasant to eat. It grows at a reasonable height so can probably handle low temperatures. Grows in full sun or partial shade. Zone 9-11
