Description

We are very excited to have obtained fresh seeds of these rare species for the first time. Only recently discovered, it is endemic to the cold mountains of Yunnan Province in China. A dwarf Musa, growing to about 3-5 feet, is very ornamental with dramatic orange flowers on an erect stem. It certainly has cold tolerant properties, and indeed, perhaps surviving, a British winter. However, as a rare species this is not well tested, so we’d love to hear how to get started. Perfect as a potted plant
