Trachycarpus wagnerianus will grow almost everywhere. The heaviest we’ve seen grows in Iceland (!), and the most tropical ones grow in Costa Rica. He’s doing great in both places. We are 100% confident that it will replace T. fortunei if it has a chance. He is not known in the wild, only in cultivation, and Japan is widely considered her homeland. Seeds have never been available in any quantity, but we have managed to get the best and purest Japanese T. wagnerianus available.
